Most hoarder homes develop over years of neglect and compilation of trash and junk. The dweller of the home / property normally has a sickness that creates an obcession in many cases that wont allow him or her to dispose of anything. It literraly doesn't matter what the trash or junk is. This leads to an overwelhming amount of this junk and trash. Once, it has gone so far the owner is no longer in a position to do basic cleaning. For example, cleaning the tub, cleaning / making the bed or sweeping the floor are task that just can not be done by the hoarder.

ECS will come in and externimate bugs and rodents from the home if that is needed first. In some cases when there are animals involved this will require exterminating fleas. Exterminating fleas is a tremendous task. Flea removal can take up to a week or more to kill all of the active and unhatched feas. The idea of working in a flea infested environment is a very painful situation.

Once, the dwelling is safe to work in the team at ECS will come in and bage all the trash in the home or apartment up and pack it on to the truck for transport to the local landfill.

Removing Hoarder Junk and Trash

The next step of the hoarder clean up process is to break down all of the furniure that can be broken down. Once that is don't all of the items are packed on to the truck or into a dumpster. Note, different size trucks are used in most cases, but dumpsters are also used based on when ever one is most cost effective. ECS does a lot of work in beach areas like Miami Beach, North Miami Beach, Hallandale Beach and Hollywood Beach. These areas make it really difficult and cost prohitive to bring in dumpster for a short term job like a hoarder clean up job.

Hoarder Cleaning Process

Once the junk and trash have been completely removed, the next step is to start cleaning. If there have been animals in the location it will most likely require special cleaning to remove the stain of animal waste that is normally in the floors and concrete surfaces. Then our team will clean all the appliances, clean the kitchen, bathrooms, counter tops, fans and more.

The final part of the process is to repair all of the items in the house. This would include holes in the wall, broken closet doors, broken cabinets and anything that is not working. The ECS team will paint the interior and exterior of the home. Finally, we will manicure your lawn and bushes to make the home beautiful.
